Room 15 did a lot of cool stuff on the weekend. Some of us had a talent show. One went to Game Stop.

Mina went to a party at Dimond Park for Mr. Nichols. We all had rocking weekends! Patrick had a baseball practice. Derek watched a movie.

Here is the weekend update for Yurok City. Chester got to go to the beach this weekend. He said it was good but the water was cold.

Sean played his Wii. He said that he played Ben Ten Wii, Wii Sports, and more.

Mina had a play date with her friend and watched a movie. Mina had a barbecue party on Saturday with her friends & family.

Salman went out to eat on Monday. He said that he went with his friend.

Today we learned about city council. We are talking about Yurok city council & about the Mayor. We learned that a council is a group of people who make laws. Voters in an city elect a mayor city council members.

Today we voted for 10 streets, & 6 of them made it. It was Monkey Shine drive, Roald Road, Triple Fudge Alley, Yurok Avenue, Mama Obama Avenue, MLK Jr. Road, the winning one of all is: Shasta Boulevard!!!

Today for some reason we don’t do tests today for all the hard work. Also, our Yurok city prices went up too.

Today we voted to name our class town Yurok City. Then we tried to name our town money, & that was named Yuroks. There were a few names that almost made it: Wonka Bucks, Abel Dollars & etc. For now we’re using squares. Then we will use something else.

In other news, I think were 1/6 away from finishing the test. This week we’re doing Language arts. But next week we’re doing the math side of the test, yippee!!

Yesterday Mr.Nichols told us we were going to start testing next week. He also told us to get ready for them and study SUPER hard. Because of testing, we learn something new in math and review stuff in math every day.

Yesterday we had a lot to do with crayfish. We renamed Winn-Dixie to Lady Claw-Claw. Lady Claw-Claw is SUPER vicious. In the beginning of the day we did crayfish facts. During HEROES, one group was inside while the other was outside. The inside group drew the cray crays and colored them. Then Mr. Nichols put our pictures on the bulletin board.

Also, yesterday we made crayfish reports. Mr Nichols specially assigned us a paragraph to write about cray crays: Crayfish Gender, Crayfish Bodies, and Crayfish food. If he assigned you Crayfish Bodies, then you would have to find someone assigned Crayfish Food and Crayfish Gender. You would write your paragraph about crayfish bodies, and the other two would write about their topic. Then you would put them together to make a report. After that all of you would come over and record your report.

I almost forgot that last week we went to Head Royce to visit our buddies for the last time. Head Royce is a huge private school with a gym, a field, a pool, and lots more stuff. It was totally AWESOME!
